Product Questions

Where is Chimichurri from?

Chimichurri is the quintessential sauce of Argentina. From street vendors to backyard barbecues, you’ll find it everywhere.

Is it a sauce?

Chimichurri is essentially a herb-based sauce or condiment although it is also used as a spread, topper, dressing, dip, or marinade. It’s only limited by your imagination.

What is it used for?

It is undeniable with all meats however it can be used to add extra flavour to pretty much any meal.

Drizzle it on eggs, avo or salads, mix it through rice or pasta, or sprinkle it on your pizza or veggies. You can also use it to marinade beef, chicken or seafood or simply use it as a dip. The choices are endless.

What’s Chimichurri made of?

An artisanal blend of sunflower and olive oil, with herbs and spices, vinegar, fresh parsley, fresh garlic, salt, and pepper. The result is a sauce that zings with flavour.

Isn’t Chimichurri supposed to be green?

Chimichurri can be green, red, or anywhere in between! Our family prefers the red version for its Smokey and zesty flavour, as well as its versatility.

The green version has a tangier flavour and is generally only eaten with meats. Both are great depending on what you’re after.

Is Chimichurri vegan?

Yes, it’s made from 100% plant-based ingredients.

Is Chimichurri gluten free?

Yes, you won’t find any gluten in our chimichurri sauces.

Is Chimichurri dairy free?

How long does it last?

6 to 9 months depending on time of purchase. Adding a layer of oil on top of the Chimichurri after use, will further preserve the freshness and flavour.

Yes, our all-natural Chimichurri sauce does not contain any preservatives, so please make sure to refrigerate after opening.
